Amy Smart, an American actress and former model. Born and brought up in California USA she started her modeling professional career in Italy. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film, was her first performance. After that, she was a star in a small role in the movie Starship Troopers she struggled very hard. It was very difficult when she had to change between modeling and acting because models were not believed to be actors and were mostly given smaller and inconsequential parts. Amy had a determination to be successful and eventually she was offered bigger parts beginning at The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. After a while Amy stepped into more leading roles. The film she starred in was the romance film Just Friends alongside Ryan Reynolds. Amy became famous for her efforts in the last decade. Amy was later a star in major films like the Crank Series alongside Jason Statham, and Shameless.
