Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles to a middle-class family. She grew up having big hopes. Her most memorable roles include the film about spying, Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the dramatic Precious. Her early years were spent at Los Angeles where she came from a middle-class family. Her parents were a loving mother who loved to watch films. Paula was involved in a variety of activities at school that were co-curricular however she showed a particular interest in dramatics. She enjoyed acting in stage plays along with her peers. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced many plays and the actress decided that acting was the career she wanted to pursue. She attended an acting program at the University of Southern California for the Summer Program, and she loved the experience. She received a 3-month contract to create documentaries for PBS. Once she had completed the task successfully, she started being an assistant in television documentary production. Then, she switched to producing documentaries. Although she enjoyed her work however, she always wanted acting roles. The romantic comedies Hitch she starred in a minor role alongside Will Smith. Since then, she has appeared in a number of popular films and television shows.
