Sheryl Underwood, an American television personality and comedian, is popular as the presenter of The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Sheryl was born in Arkansas and raised within Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. Sheryl was a part of her youth caring for her sister Frankie and her polio-infected sister. When she was a child, she had a difficult relationship with her mother. Sheryl states that her mother was once brutally stabbed by her father because he was too close. Sheryl was a soldier shortly after graduating from the college. Sheryl's interest lay with comedy. She became the first woman to be a finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV professional career in 1992 when she appeared as a frequent actor in the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the television program Oh Drama! Since 2011 she has been hosting as a co-host of the talk show The Talk. In addition, she has a fictional role in shows like Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
